“In Pursuit of Knowledge” is the main slogan of Hamdard University Bangladesh. According to Hadith seeking knowledge is an obligation. Knowledge is defined by Oxford Dictionary as facts, information, and skills acquired through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. Socrates argued that actively seeking out knowledge leads to the ability of man to moderate his behavior accordingly. The Founder and Chief Patron Dr Hakim Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan has established this University to produce “Sada Moner Manush” (Enlightened Human Being) who will contribute to the society as well as the nation through their true knowledge and philanthropic activities.

I believe that the Office of the Controller of Examination (OCE) is playing a vital role for Hamdard University Bangladesh to establish a true flagship in the educational arena through its contemporary strategies, dedication, resources and commitment.This University does not offer Certificate to its students unless they achieve it through their proper/hard study after finishing all kinds of academic requirements.

The Office of the Controller of Examinations strictly follows the Examination rules and regulations approved by the Academic Council and Syndicate of this University. Student’s result is verified and proposed by the existing Examination Committee and at the end, the result is finalized and published after getting the approval from the Academic Council and Syndicate of this University.

I firmly believe that Veracity, Quality and Control are the fundamental principles of the Office of the Controller of Examinations of this University. By the grace of Almighty Allah, the Office of the Controller of Examinations has gained reliance, credibility, reliability, and functionality through its strong commitment.By the virtue of earnest involvement and dedication in the examination matters, I am pleased that OCE plays a vital role to ensure the ideology of the University.
