Hamdard University Bangladesh Organized a Discussion Meeting on Independence and National Day 2019

On 27 March 2019 Hamdard University Bangladesh organized a discussion meeting on the Independence and National Day 2019 at the permanent campus, Hamdard Nagar, Gazaria, Munshiganj. The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan presided over the program. Besides, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration Prof. Dr. Md. Nasim Anzum; Dean (Acting), Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology Dr. Mohammad Rabiul Alam; Md. Nurul Huda, the Controller of Examinations, all the Heads of the all Departments, all Faculty members, students, officers and staff were present.

The program started with the recitation from the Holy Quran and the welcome speech was given by the Registrar Dr. Md. Moazzom Hossain.

All the speakers (Students and teachers) of the meeting widely acknowledged that without the leadership of Bangaboundhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Bangladesh would not become an independent nation in the world.

The Vice-Chancellor of Hamdard University Bangladesh Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan profoundly remembered the Father of the Nation Bangaboundhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members, National four Leaders, all the freedom fighters and all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for making Bangladesh a free nation in the world. He briefly discussed the history and origin of Bangladesh and the Independent Movements of Bangladesh. He advised the students that they should know the original history of Bangladesh and should cherish the spirit of the War of Liberation in their heart to become true patriots. Furthermore, he also urged the students that they should be vigilant and ready to resist all types of conspiracies against Bangladesh and its people. Moreover, he advised the students that they should avoid and aware of any kinds of drug, any kinds of militant and terrorist activities.

Hamdard University Bangladesh also organized an essay writing and drawing competition on the topic of “Bangaboundhu and Bangladesh”.
