Hostel facilities for girls and boys are available near the campus in rented houses in Newtown, Sonargaon. However, starting in January 2018, girls have been shifting to the new hostel premise on the 2nd floor of the new building (housing Unani & Ayurvedic Faculty). Part of the hostel-charges is borne by the University while students pay for the monthly rent, utilities and food. As planned, consequently the University will be a semi-residential institution. And in this regard, the authority is very careful in renting and maintaining the hostel facilities to provide optimum ease and comfort to the students. Since hostels are located across the river (Meghna Bridge), the University bus and micro buses ply between the hostels/ designated spots and the University as per schedule. As mentioned earlier, a 300-seat hostel for girls is already commissioned in the new building while hostel for boys is also being planned on campus. It is also heartening that the University authority has planned to build accommodation on Campus for members of the Faculty.
