A tree plantation program was organized at Hamdard University Bangladesh on 26th July 2023. The program started with a rally led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Faruque-Uz-Zaman Chowdhury; Prof. Dr. Abul Khair, Treasurer; Nurul Huda, Controller of Examinations; and Md Zubair-Arefin, Registrar (In-Charge) of Hamdard University Bangladesh. The Deans of the Faculties, Heads of the Departments, and teachers participated in the demonstration.

The rally was followed by planting seedlings on the campus by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Faruque-Uz-Zaman Chowdhury, Prof. Dr. Abul Khair, Treasurer; and Nurul Huda, Controller of Examinations of Hamdard University Bangladesh. The program took place to create awareness among the university students about global warming and climate change, which cause hazardous environments in the current world.

The honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Faruque-Uz-Zaman Chowdhury, and Prof. Dr. Abul Khair, Treasurer of Hamdard University Bangladesh spoke about the importance and vital role of trees play in reducing carbon emissions and creating balance in the biodiversity of our world.
