An Iftar and Doa Mahfil held at Hamdard University Bangladesh

Hamdard University Bangladesh organized an Iftar and Doa Mahfil on 23 May 2019 at its permanent campus at Hamdard Nagor, Gazaria, Munshiganj-1510. The Member of the Board of Trustees of the University and Deputy Managing Director of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh Mohammad Zamal Uddin (Russel) was present as the Chief guest in the event and graced the occasion. The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan presided over the program while the Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Khair, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sadirul Islam; Dean (In-charge), Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology Assoc Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rabiul Alam; the Controller of Examinations Md. Nurul Huda, the Head of Unani and Ayurvedic Medicine Dr. Md. Khairul Alam, all the Heads of the Departments, all Faculty members, all the students, officers and staff were present. The keynote speaker was Islamic thinker Mawlana Shah Md. Waliullah and the program was started with the welcome speech of the Registrar Dr. Md. Moazzom Hossain. Mawlana Shah Md. Waliullah briefly discussed the history of Ramadan, the importance of holy Ramadan for the Muslims and how to perform Ramada in an effective way.
