On 28th February 2023, the Department of Mathematics at Hamdard University Bangladesh organized a Farewell, Fresher's Reception, and Cultural Program at the university auditorium. The program was designed to welcome new students to the department, bid farewell to the outgoing batch, and celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of Bangladesh. The program was presided by the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Dr. Mohammod Jahirul Haque Munshi, while the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Faruque-Uz-Zaman Chowdhury, and the Advisor, Professor Dr. Md. Amanullah, were the chief and special guests, respectively.

The program started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Head of the Department of Mathematics, Dr. Mohammod Jahirul Haque Munshi, delivered the opening speech.

The esteemed chief guest of the event, Professor Dr. Faruque-Uz-Zaman Chowdhury, welcomed the incoming students to the University and extended congratulations to the outgoing batch for successfully completing their program. In his address, he urged the students to work diligently and leverage the opportunities provided by the University to achieve their aspirations.

The program then proceeded to the cultural segment, where students from the department presented a series of dance performances and musical recitals, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh. The performances included traditional folk dances, modern fusion performances, and classical music recitals, which received thunderous applause from the audience.

After the cultural segment, the outgoing batch was awarded certificates and mementos to acknowledge their contribution to the department during their academic journey. The event concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Dr. Mohammod Jahirul Haque Munshi, who thanked the guests, students, and staff for making the program a grand success.
