A business workshop on “Application of Financial Models in Investment Decisions: A Special Focus on the Capital Asset Pricing Model” was held at the Department of Business Administration under the Faculty of Business Administration on 18 September 2024 with the attendance of around 25 undergraduate students and professionals. This special event commences with a keynote speech by Dr. Md. Faruk Hossain, Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration. The workshop was organized by the Voice of Business (VoB), a prominent club at the Department of Business Administration, Hamdard University Bangladesh. This event was specially designed for the students of BBA and MBA programs to provide them with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in leveraging modern finance tools to enhance their investment analysis aptitude and strategic planning. Unlike theoretical classes, this workshop particularly provides hands-on learning, ensuring that one can immediately apply these tools in optimal portfolio investment decisions with proper management of risks.
