On 17 July 2019 Hamdard University Bangladesh organized yearly Tree Plantation Program and a Seminar on “Saving the Endangered Ganges River Dolphin in Bangladesh” in its permanent campus at Hamdard Nagor, Gazaria, Munshiganj. The member of the Board of Trustees of the University and Deputy Managing Director of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh Mohammad Zamal Uddin (Russel) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while the Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Khair, Dean of Faculty of Business Administration Prof Dr Md Nasim Anzum, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sadirul Islam, Dean (In-charge) of Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology Assoc. Prof Dr Mohammad Rabiul Alam, the Registrar Dr Md Moazzom Hossain, the Controller of Examinations Md. Nurul Huda, all the Heads of the Departments, all Faculty members, students and officers were present.
