Hamdard University Bangladesh Observed the National Mourning Day-2021

On 15 August 2021, Hamdard University Bangladesh organized a rally, a discussion meeting, and Dua Mahfil on the National Mourning Day-2021 at its permanent campus at Hamdard Nagar, Gazaria, Munshiganj-1510. On the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor (in-charge) of the University Prof. Dr. Md. Kased Ali Sarker presided over the discussion meeting and Dua Mahfil. Besides, Treasurer (In charge) of the University Prof. Dr. Abul Khair, Dean (in charge), Faculty of Business Administration Assoc. Prof. Dr. Farooq Hossan, Controller of Examinations Md. Nurul Huda, Head of Unani Medicine Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Md. Khairul Alam, Head of English Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Head of Ayurvedic Medicine Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Md. Babul Akter, Head of Mathematics Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Md. Jahirul Haque Munshi, Head of EEE Department Assistant Prof. Md. Salim Raza, Officers, and Staff were present. Welcome speech was given by the Registrar Dr. Md. Moazzom Hossain.
The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
All the speakers of the discussion meeting expressed their homage and profoundly remembered the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members who were brutally killed in the year of 1975. All the speakers of the discussion meeting acknowledged unanimously that without Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s leadership we would not be able to achieve the independence of Bangladesh.
The Vice Chancellor (in charge) Prof. Dr. Kased Ali Sarker profoundly remembered the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, his family members and the four National Leaders of Bangladesh. He mentioned that he participated in the Mass Uprising of 1969. After the Liberation War, he had the opportunity to come in contact with the Father of the Nation and he developed his future by the direction of the Father of the Nation. He urged that all should work properly in their own areas in accordance with the direction of Bangabandhu. Besides, he discussed the humane attributes of the Father of the Nation in detail. Moreover, he voiced that without Bangabandhu the independence of Bangladesh would not be possible. Then, he discussed the role and contribution of the Father of the Nation in its independence. At the end, he urged everyone to cherish the ideology of Bangabandhu and work for the nation accordingly.
The program ended with a special prayer for the departed souls of the Father of the Nation and members of his family.
